About This Event

Get ready, Carleton Terrace Neighbors! Our first ever Oktoberfest is coming to the park! Join us on Saturday, October 18th, from 3:30–6:30 PM at Carleton Terrace Community Park for an afternoon full of food, music, and fun.

We’re serving up HOME MADE German favorites – Bratwurst, pretzels sauerkraut and more. Kid-friendly hot dogs and chips will also be available. Sweet treats from our bake sale and drinks (wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options) will keep the festive spirit going.

The main event? Bingo with big prizes! Play for everything from gift cards and themed baskets to sponsor-donated big ticket items. Don’t forget the 50/50 raffle and yard games to add to the fun.

Live music from fellow neighbor JD Wayne on guitar will set the Oktoberfest mood, and neighbors can mingle, laugh, and enjoy the fall evening together.

Come hungry, bring friends, and let’s raise funds for our community while having a blast.

Parking

We will be running pickup between 3:30pm-4:00pm, and drop off at the end of the event between 6:00pm-6:30pm. The golf cart can only hold 3 people at a time.

We ask that you request transportation only if it is needed so that the golf cart doesn’t get too taxed getting up and down the steep hill.

Request pickup by calling or texting Jon Scott Santy at 321-482-8337. You’ll need to provide your address.

Bingo

How Bingo Will Work

During Oktoberfest, we’ll be hosting a minimum of 10 bingo games, each offering a different prize for the winner. Every round will feature a unique way to win — from the classic straight line to fun variations like four corners, postage stamp, and full card blackout.

Players can purchase bingo cards in advance or at the event. There will be an opportunity to increase your odds with the option to purchase additional Bingo cards for $1. Each game will be called separately, with a new chance to win every time. Once a prize is awarded, we’ll clear the boards and start fresh for the next round.

Prizes

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, each round of Bingo will have a prize worth $100 or more! Be ready to win big with gift certificates for massages, restaurants and fun baskets full of goodies!

Cost

$30 for initial pack of 10 Bingo cards.

$1 for additional cards to be sold at the beginning of each game.

Volunteers

Why Volunteers Matter

Oktoberfest wouldn’t be possible without volunteers. These events take a whole team to pull off, from preparing food and setting up tables to selling tickets and calling out bingo numbers. Every role, big or small, contributes to creating a smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our neighbors and their guests.

Volunteers are the heart of community events. They help us raise money for projects that benefit everyone, while also keeping costs low so more of the funds go directly back into the park. Most importantly, volunteers bring energy, connection, and a sense of togetherness that makes the event special.

When you give your time, you’re not just helping for a few hours — you’re building a stronger community.

Here are a few areas that volunteers are needed:

  • Setup Crew (tables, chairs, decorations, sound system)

  • Cleanup Crew (tables, trash, breakdown)

  • Golf Cart Taxi Drivers (helping neighbors down to the park and back up the hill)

View the whole list of volunteer roles needed and sign up accordingly! The more volunteers we have, the more we can all enjoy the event!

Pre-Purchase Tickets

To make sure we have plenty of food prepared, all meal tickets must be purchased in advance. The deadline for meal ticket sales is Tuesday, October 14th. This allows us to order supplies and cook enough for everyone without waste. Food will not be available on the day of without pre-purchase.

Bingo cards will also be available for pre-purchase — or you can buy them at the gate on the day of the event. Pre-purchasing is a great way to skip the lines and guarantee your spot in the fun.

Don’t wait until the last minute — secure your tickets early and help us plan a smooth, successful Oktoberfest for all!

If you’d like to pay by cash/check, please contact Ashley Hall before October 14th either by call/text (321) 917-5799, or email carletonterraceparkassoc@gmail.com
